Introduction
In today’s complex world, facilities managers are not well equipped with the right knowledge to manage the built environment. Facilities mangers need to develop their competencies and gain a more holistic view on how business works while manage growth and the dynamic change in the environment in parallel with managing people’s expectations, satisfaction and health.
Objectives
The course is designed to allow participants to gain knowledge about Facilities Management. Expanding markets and furious competition are major features of today’s real estate market. Hence developers are merely selling real estate units, but rather selling a complete end-to end customer experience focusing more on after sale services. This is where Facility Management Discipline comes in handy, as the discipline focuses on all aspects of the facility operation throughout its total life cycle, including cleanliness, waste management, pest control, operation & maintenance, safety & security, land escape ..etc.
This knowledge-based course will provide the participants with the FM basics, tools, techniques and working knowledge of facility systems, structure to help them enhance and fine-tune their FM skills as well as build and improve the performance of their teams.
Learners will be exposed to real life case studies, in-class work groups, hands on training techniques to transform the program to more of a vocational training, enabling trainees to develop, evaluate and assess a facility management program.
